Experience the richness of Kenyan culture whilst building a house hand-in-hand with a local family and their community.
Join this two-week challenge and you will be giving a Kenyan family a hand up to escape the vicious cycle of poverty housing by helping them to build a simple, decent place to live. Working together with a homepartner family, the local community and skilled local builders, you will assist in constructing a new home. On your building days you could be laying bricks, digging foundations or mixing cement. On your rest days, you will be able to spend time with the local community, learning about Kenya's rich culture. You will also have the opportunity to discover the savannah wildlife. |
